When Easter time comes every year, pro cyclists prepare the most famous classic on the cobbles: Paris-Roubaix. This amazing race is the conclusion of the Spring Classics in the Flanders. The one who wins this competition, writes his name in the History.

Paris-Roubaix Days tour

Wandeo takes you in the middle of the battle with a day trip following the race from the start in Compiegne to the finish at the Velodrome in Roubaix.

After a pick up at gare Lille Europe*, we head to Royal Palace of Compiegne where the start is. Among the team buses, you will feel the tension rising for the contenders. You will be able to see the settings of the bikes, details that you can't see when watching TV. The riders will come signing the race register and will be introduced to the cheering croud.

You will see 3 cobblestone segments where the pros will battle to have the best position to handle the these brittle roads. Being well placed is the key of Paris-Roubaix. We will see one of the first sectors, one just before Aremberg where the battle for the best position before "la Trouee" happens and one sector about 40 km away from the finish when the break is usually made and the intensity of the race is at the highest point to see if what remains of the peloton will catch the fugitives.

We will finish at the Velodrome to live the dramatic finish of the Hell of the North. Then the riders will reach their team buses with their dirty suffer or happy faces.

The end of the day tour takes you back to Lille where you can take a TGV train back to Paris or keep enjoying the nice atmosphere of Lille.

*Starting from Paris, groups

You can join the trip from Paris. Paris gare du Nord is 1 hour away from Compiegne (where the starts is) with regular TER train (train express regional). We can help you to choose the right train and meet you in the start zone.

If you are a group of minimum 4, we can arrange a pick up at your accommodation either in Paris or Lille.
